Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to design and build scalable automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and microservices. You will write production-quality test code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, and partner with development teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, expertise in UI automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Five+ years of experience as an SDET or test-focused software engineering role.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and database validation.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and microservice testing.
• Write production-quality automated test code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# using Selenium/Cypress/Playwright.
• Implement contract testing using Pact or similar tools to validate service contracts in microservices.
• Build CI/CD test pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Develop performance test suites using JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust with realistic load models.
• Implement security testing fundamentals including SAST/DAST and OWASP checks.
• Lead test strategy discussions and risk-based testing approaches.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to identify quality risks early.
• Perform root-cause analysis of production incidents and translate findings into automated tests.
• Drive test coverage, reliability, and faster feedback; mentor junior QA engineers.
