Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) for an onsite role in Plano, Texas. The candidate will design and implement scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and end-to-end testing, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to improve software quality.

The role requires 8+ years in SDET/QA, proficiency in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Node.js, and hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SDET/QA Automation or Quality Engineering experience with strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Node.js
• 5+ years building/maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
• 5+ years API testing experience with REST services using Karate, Rest Assured, and Postman
• 5+ years experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI with Git/GitHub proficiency

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks
• Develop automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
• Review requirements and technical designs to improve quality and testability
• Troubleshoot defects and drive continuous quality improvements
• Mentor team members and promote quality engineering best practices
