Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on QA, test automation, and distributed systems testing, collaborating with developers and other QA teams to enhance automation coverage.

The candidate will develop automated tests, validate system designs, and contribute to scalable testing practices. Remote work is allowed from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems/Sciences, Telecommunications Systems Management, or Telecommunication Networks, plus two years of related experience.
• Two years of experience with C#, JavaScript, Ember, React, Microsoft Azure, SQL, Postman, and JMeter.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/testing duties and develop automated system tests in a distributed systems environment.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA teams on automation infrastructure and test plans.
• Create and deploy automated tests to replicate real-world scenarios and improve testing methodologies.
