Job summary

Flex, a NYC headquartered FinTech, seeks a Senior SDET to own test automation and quality for major product areas. You will architect automation frameworks, lead test strategies, and collaborate across engineering, product, and quality to deliver reliable releases.

You will mentor junior SDETs, drive cross-functional quality initiatives, and advocate best practices while shaping engineering excellence within a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and test automation.
• Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, RestAssured.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and optimize automated test frameworks for complex product areas.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for API, UI, and integration testing.
• Lead test strategy development and perform risk analysis for major features and systems.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery processes.
• Proactively identify systemic quality issues and drive cross-team process improvements.
