Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC seeks an experienced Senior SDET to lead test automation initiatives in a hybrid setup (3 onsite days/week) in Jersey City. You will drive automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright with Java, build and maintain scalable frameworks, and perform API testing and backend validation.

Qualifications

• : Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• : Experience with Playwright Java automation framework.
• : Expertise in developing and maintaining automation frameworks (POM, Data-Driven).
• : Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and End-to-End Testing.
• : API Testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
• : CI/CD integration using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• : Version control tools – Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• : Defect and test management tools – JIRA and Micro Focus Octane.
• : Good understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies.
• : Banking or Financial Services domain experience is a plus.
• : Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts.
• : Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks.
• : Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios.
• : Perform API testing and backend data validation.
• : Identify, track, and report defects.
• : Collaborate with developers, BAs, product owners, and QA teams.
• : Participate in Agile ceremonies and support end-to-end release activities.
• : Mentor junior team members and continuously improve automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and QA to define test coverage and release plans.
