Zip Co Limited is seeking a senior quality engineer to own verification and validation for complex cloud-native systems across backend APIs and frontend UI, within an AI-forward development environment. You will partner with engineers, design, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality is built in from the start, drive root cause analysis, and develop scalable automation for rapid releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in quality engineering, QA automation, or SDET roles.
• Strong ability to identify edge cases and subtle bugs.
• Deep understanding of testing strategies: unit, integration, E2E, contract, regression.
• Proven experience owning quality for complex production systems.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience building automation for API/backend and UI/frontend testing.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test strategies and edge-case coverage.
• Drive root cause analysis and prevention for defects.
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks across backend and frontend.
