Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a Senior SDET to join the Testing Team. You will lead QA efforts for the CSOD Cloud Platform in an agile setting, developing automated tests and guiding AI testing across generative AI features, LLM integrations, and data pipelines.

Strong coding skills in Java and Python plus experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright and REST APIs are essential. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to improve software quality, contribute to CI/CD practices, and ensure

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
• 3-6 years of software quality assurance experience, including analytical systems.
• 2+ years building test automation with Selenium, Robotium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Strong knowledge of static/dynamic, black/white/grey box, automated regression, build verification and volume testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA within an agile environment to ensure quality of the CSOD Cloud Platform.
• Develop automated tests at unit, integration, and UI layers.
• Analyze requirements with product owners and ensure clarity.
• Manage test case inventory for the scrum team and coordinate with QA members.
• Provide technical guidance to QA and Product Support teams.
• Design and execute AI validation strategies for Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompts and AI agents.
• Build AI-driven automation frameworks using Python, Java, Playwright/Selenium, REST APIs, and CI/CD.
• Monitor AI quality metrics, regression trends, and production telemetry.

• Quality Assurance Leadership: Work within an agile development environment to ensure the quality of the CSOD Cloud Platform's architecture.
• Product Expertise: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our product architecture and play a key role in feature and enhancement development.
• Manual Testing: Write and execute test cases/plans, log defects, verify fixes, and ensure thorough coverage.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with product owners to analyze requirements, raise questions, and ensure clarity.
• Test Automation: Develop automated tests at the unit, integration, and UI layers using tools like TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, and others.
• Scrum Collaboration: Manage the test case inventory for your scrum team and coordinate with QA team members.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to QA and Product Support teams when necessary.
• Defect Analysis: Analyze defects and test results to identify root causes and improve software quality.
• Participate in the enhancement of our Test Automation and Continuous Integration practices Continuous Improvement.
• SQL Expertise: Write SQL queries for data setup and test verification, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Communication: Provide timely updates on critical issues and overall status to the scrum team and other stakeholders.
• AI Test Strategy: Design and execute validation strategies for AI-powered features, including Generative AI, LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, prompts, and AI agents.
• AI Quality Evaluation: Create evaluation datasets and automate validation for accuracy, relevance, hallucination detection, safety, toxicity, bias, and factual consistency.
• AI Automation: Build AI-driven automation frameworks leveraging Python, Java, Playwright/Selenium, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• AI Observability: Monitor AI quality metrics, regression trends, prompt changes, model performance, and production telemetry.
• Automation Framework: Enhance scalable automation frameworks with API, UI, integration, performance, and contract testing.
• Experience with AI/LLM testing, prompt engineering, MCP, REST APIs, vector databases, and AI evaluation frameworks is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding assistants.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and performance testing.

• Technical Skills : Extensive experience with various types of testing: static/dynamic, black/white/grey box, automated regression, build verification, and volume testing.
• Strong analytical skills with a creative and detail-oriented approach.
• Proficient in SQL query writing (MySQL, Oracle).
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, Jenkins, and TeamCity.
• Tools: Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestLink, TestRail, and Bugzilla.
• Operating Systems: Proficient with Unix/Linux systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
