WEX is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) Level 3 in San Francisco to lead the design of complete services and resolve complex integration challenges. You will drive AI-driven initiatives, champion agentic engineering, and own major features from conception through deployment.

You will shape architecture, ensure secure and scalable systems, and collaborate with product teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior software developer with end-to-end ownership of services.
• Experience designing multi-service architectures at scale.
• Familiarity with AI tools and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy multi-agent workflows within AWS Agent Core.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of services and cross-platform integrations.
• Own automated deployment and environment management, CI/CD optimization.
• Review code for security and adhere to authentication standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and articulate trade-offs for performance and scalability.
