Job summary

CyKor, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer – SD-WAN Provisioning to support provisioning, staging, and deployment of Cisco SD‑WAN equipment for a federal program in the Annapolis area. The role emphasizes hands‑on bench work, configuration management, and coordination with architects and Tier 3 staff.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of network engineering, strong Cisco IOS‑XE experience, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

5–8+ years of progressively responsible network engineering experience, including senior‑level troubleshooting responsibilities.
Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS/IOS-XE devices.
Experience with Cisco Catalyst SD‑WAN / Viptela or comparable enterprise SD‑WAN technologies.
Ability to work on‑site in the Annapolis, Maryland area.
An active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Provision, configure, test, validate, troubleshoot, and document Cisco SD‑WAN equipment prior to field deployment.
Coordinate with architects, automation engineers, and field teams to support deployment.
Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 networking, routing, switching, VPNs, and SD‑WAN connectivity issues.
Validate device connectivity and registration with SD‑WAN controllers and management platforms.
Maintain provisioning records and document software, configurations, and baselines.
Support Tier 3 engineering personnel and provide senior technical guidance.
