Job summary

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a cleared Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader and coach for the Agile team, facilitate SAFe implementation, and ensure adherence to agreed-upon processes in a classified environment.

The Scrum Master educates the team in Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe practices while supporting self-organization and goal achievement.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• 10+ years of Agile team experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all team-level SAFe ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Coach team members in Agile and SAFe practices.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Foster environment for continuous flow and relentless improvement.
• Support Product Owner in backlog management and refinement.
• Track and report team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
• Escalate unresolved impediments through appropriate channels.
• Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Participate in Scrum Master communities of practice.
• Support Program-level events and coordination.

This position removes impediments, fosters high-performing team dynamics, and drives continuous improvement. The Scrum Master educates the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban, and SAFe practices while supporting the team's self-organization and goal achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all team-level SAFe ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Coach team members in Agile and SAFe practices.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Agile team experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master.
• Active Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.
• Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and XP practices.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in classified environments.
• Excellent coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
