Job summary

Nationwide Technology is seeking a Consultant, Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for the Legacy Shifters and Letter Legend lines within the Annuity Modernization Program. This hybrid role in Columbus, OH requires coaching teams, removing impediments, and aligning priorities with business outcomes.

You will partner with Product Owners, engineering, architecture, and delivery leaders to drive value, strong practices, and effective delivery across a large program.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, MIS, mathematics or related field preferred.
• Experience as a Scrum Master or similar in large-scale technology delivery.
• Strong Agile/Scrum practice, coaching, and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading teams through operating model changes and large programs.
• Ability to connect delivery to business outcomes and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery practices across Legacy Shifters and Letter Legends lines.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Drive cross-team planning, dependency management, and Scrum of Scrums coordination.
• Remove blockers and surface risks early; escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery leaders to align priorities and capacity.
• Ensure work is visible and maintained in Jira and supporting tools.
• Lead teams through AI accelerated delivery and organizational change.
