Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Scrum Master in Charlotte, NC to lead Agile teams in Banking & Financial Services. You will facilitate ceremonies, coach teams on Agile/Safe, and partner with Product Owners to drive backlog and delivery in complex programs.

The role requires 8+ years IT experience with 3+ years as Scrum Master, strong Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps, and excellent stakeholder management across business, technology, compliance, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Strong Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
• Hands-on with Agile Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
• Experience managing multiple Agile teams and complex deliveries.
• Strong SDLC, Agile metrics, release planning, and risk management.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work with business, technology, compliance, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe to improve delivery outcomes.
• Partner with Product Owners to manage and prioritize backlogs.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting productivity and project delivery.
• Responsible for facilitating agile scrum, kanban, and scaling best practices in support of delivery.
• Work with product owner to ensure backlog refinement and clear sprint goals.
• Drive Jira hygiene and time tracking.
• Identify and manage intra-product and inter-product dependencies.
