Job summary

Helm Point Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a high-impact government program at Fort Meade, MD. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and offers a full-time, fully funded position with a salary between $160K and $170K.

You will coach Agile teams, coordinate with ARTs, and collaborate with Product Owners to deliver features while driving SAFe ceremonies and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of current or very recent work experience as a Scrum Master, preferably on a large, technical program.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or PMI-ACP certification.

Responsibilities

• Coach, support, and enforce Scrum process and other process rules.
• Ensure a clear Definition of Done and how to meet it.
• Coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and communicate status to management.
• Work with Product Owner(s) to review and prioritize features.
• Lead and facilitate SAFe ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews with demos, Sprint Retrospectives, and PI Planning.
• Develop User Stories with Product Owner(s) and System Engineers to meet the Feature acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and generate information radiators for the teams.
• Collect and share team metrics and propose improvements.
• Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles to drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:
