Job summary

SAIC in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior Scrum Master to facilitate Agile Release Train events, coach teams, and help deliver mission value under the GMASS program. You will remove impediments, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with stakeholders and product owners to align with DoD/DoD Space objectives.

Responsibilities include PI Planning facilitation, Scrum of Scrums, system demos, and promoting DevSecOps practices within the CDP. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience
• Secret clearance
• Industry recognized Agile certification (Scaled Agile, Scrum.org, Scrum, Inc., Scrum Alliance, or PMI)
• Experience coaching multi-functional teams to achieve common goals

SAIC in support of the Ground Based Radar (GBR) Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) contractseeksan enthusiastic and outgoing Senior Scrum Master to join our team. This individual should have a desire tofacilitateAgile Release Train (ART) events, processes, andassistteams in delivering mission and customer value. Scrum Masters communicate with stakeholders, escalat impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement on our programlocatedin Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Major duties of the position include:

• Serve as a facilitator ofAgile events and processes including Value Stream Mapping, Roadmap creation, Backlog management, Program Increment (PI) Planning, Product Owner Sync, Scrum of Scrums, PI Review, Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt Workshops
• Serve as aScrum Masterworking with mission owners, stakeholders (including customers), Product Owners, Kanban leads, and Team members to ensure the processes and practices of the program align with the purposes and desired business and mission outcomes of Agile/DevSecOps principles
• Improve the flow of value through Value Streams by improving and assessing the practices associated withDevSecOpsand Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
• Facilitate Regular System Demos that show Acceptance Criteria has been met and are a vehicle for selling off Features to Stakeholders
• Foster Communities of Practice (CoP) and the use of Engineering and Built-In Quality practices

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence,etc)

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
