Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead complex initiatives and design long-term solutions for our ultra-fast fulfillment network in North America. You will work across Operations, Finance, Product, Technology, and Science to optimize performance and drive scalable improvements.

You will manage strategic trade-offs between speed, cost, and service, model supply chain scenarios, and mentor teams to execute across multiple countries with a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and delivering end-to-end results.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex supply chain initiatives with considerable impact.
• Design end-to-end solutions for complex supply chain challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Present findings to senior leadership and write strategic narratives.
• Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies balancing speed, cost and service.
• Mitigate long-term risks and trade-offs between short and long-term needs.
• Drive process improvements across programs and potentially multiple countries.
• Lead supply chain modeling and design projects from concept through implementation.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Product, Technology, and Science to optimize performance.
• Develop new processes and mechanisms while driving operational excellence.
• Navigate and resolve contentious issues across stakeholder teams.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify root causes and scalable solutions.
• Negotiate complex agreements and manage supplier relationships.
