Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Senior Scientist to advance CNS research involving neurotransmitters, novel compounds, and large molecules, with an emphasis on expert pre-clinical microdialysis. The candidate will lead hands-on experiments and ensure rigorous data collection.

The role requires designing experiments, performing surgeries and dosing, coordinating with bioanalytical teams, and writing study plans and reports.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of demonstrated microdialysis experience.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.
• Experience in histology, pain, sleep, or surgeries is a plus.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Drug discovery, management, and programming experience are preferred.

My client is expanding and seeks a Senior Scientist to investigate neurotransmitters, novel compounds, and large molecules in the CNS space. The ideal candidate will be an expert pre-clinical microdialysis.

This ideal candidate will take on the following tasks:

• Design and develop experiments incorporating microdialysis techniques with pharmaceutical agents and genetic manipulations.
• Execute and direct studies, including surgeries, dosing, and coordinating with the bioanalytical team.
• Collaborate with management to help write study plans and reports and be able to discuss the data collection and analyses processes in a clear manner.
• Liaise with external partners on study design and data reporting.
• Maintain and troubleshoot experimental equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.
• 3+ years of demonstrated microdialysis experience.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.
• Additional experience in histology, pain, sleep, or surgeries.
• Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Drug discovery, management, and programming experience are all preferred.

This position can also be more junior or more senior depending on the years of experience.
