Job summary

Flagship Pioneering's Pioneering Medicines unit is seeking a Scientist/Senior Scientist to join the Translational Sciences team in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on bridging early research and clinical development through translational immunology activities and biomarker assays.

You will deliver datasets informing drug discovery direction, contribute to immunology/translational projects, and collaborate with leaders to advance candidate molecules. On-site role in Cambridge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in biology, immunology, pharmacology or equivalent with 5+ years in a lab; PhD with 2+ years in industry.
• Experience with ex-vivo assay development in rodent, NHP and human tissues/plasma/whole blood.
• Experience with in vitro T cell differentiation (e.g., Treg, Th17).
• Experience using flow cytometry for phenotyping, etc.

• Deliver datasets to inform translational direction of drug discovery programs.
• Contribute to immunology and translational research goals and strategies.
• Collaborate on capability building to support immunology/translational needs.
• Communicate research plans and data to colleagues with diverse backgrounds.
• Contribute to other activities within the drug discovery group.
