Job summary

Zoho seeks a Senior Scientist to lead formulation, application, and industrial scaling of bioceramic tech for performance apparel and textiles. You will bridge materials science with industrial textile finishing and manufacturing.

The role requires Ph.D.-level expertise and 3–5+ years in textile finishing labs, with travel domestically and internationally. On-site work in Indianapolis, with collaboration across mills and labs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or doctoral-equivalent in a textile-related field.
• 3–5+ years in textile finishing or industrial labs.
• Experience with binder/particle dispersion chemistry and finishing processes.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and scale aqueous binder/finishing systems with inorganic & bioceramic particles.
• Lead commercial finishing trials (pad-dry-cure, screen printing, spray).
• Collaborate with suppliers, toll formulators, and mills to optimize formulations.
• Establish and execute textile testing protocols (AATCC & ISO).
• Troubleshoot on-site and scale up at partner facilities.
