Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Scientist in Sterile Oligonucleotide Drug Product Development in Bedford, MA (on-site, with ~10% travel to Waltham). The role focuses on developing and optimizing formulations and manufacturing processes for CNS and ocular oligonucleotide therapeutics.

Senior Scientist in Sterile Oligonucleotide Drug Product Development

focused on developing and optimizing formulations and manufacturing processes for oligonucleotide therapeutics, primarily in CNS and eye indications.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• PhD in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 4+ years industry experience; or MSc with 6+ years; or BSc with 10+ years.
• Must have at least one year of experience in oligonucleotide or mRNA sterile drug product development.

Preferred skills

• expertise in oligonucleotide conjugates, delivery routes (intrathecal, ocular, IV), analytical characterization (HPLC, LC-MS, DSC, etc.), bioconjugation chemistry, and high-throughput screening.
