Join to apply for the Senior Scientist - Proteogenomics Approaches for Novel Antigen Discovery role at Regeneron.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist who will utilize our advanced facilities and technology to perform qualitative and quantitative mass spectrometry experiments targeting autoimmune, infectious disease, and oncology for novel immunotherapeutics such as bispecific antibodies, cell therapies, and vaccines. The role involves applying cutting-edge mass spectrometry techniques for discovering and validating disease-specific antigens from human tissues and cell lines, as well as developing innovative methods to enhance target discovery.

Responsibilities include:
  • Running mass spectrometry data analysis (total proteomics, cell surface proteomics, immunopeptidomics)
  • Method development and optimization, including automation
  • Preparing MS samples from various normal, diseased, and tumor tissues, including pre-fractionation and digestion
  • Affinity purification of proteins/peptides from diverse samples
  • Collaborating across scientific disciplines to design and perform analyses
  • Presenting data and findings internally and externally, and preparing conference and publication materials

Minimum qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field with 0-3 years of experience, or BS/MS with 8-10+ years
  • Experience operating HPLC and mass spectrometers (LC-MS)
  • Preferred experience with Thermo Orbitrap or Bruker Ultra series mass spectrometers
  • Knowledge of autoimmunity and immunology is desirable
  • Experience with immunoprecipitation sample prep for MS analysis
  • Data analysis skills using tools like Xcalibur, PEAKS, Spectronaut, FragPipe, Skyline, and database search engines
  • Immunopeptidomics experience and large-scale NGS data analysis are pluses
