Responsibilities

• Design synthetic routes and plans using SciFinder/Reaxys or AI design software, with an emphasis on efficiency and convergence. Conduct literature searches.
• Deep understanding of organic chemistry and mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and optimize multi-step syntheses of small molecules.
• Manage a team of up to 10 chemists to ensure high-quality delivery of small molecular compounds.
• Support project leaders and report progress to supervisors.
• 50% bench work for troubleshooting, 50% team management.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in organic chemistry or related fields; degrees from US or EU preferred.
• Undergraduate from China 985 universities preferred.
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
