Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Senior Scientist, MS&T, to drive formulation development and scale-up across the product lifecycle in a fast-paced pharma environment. You will design robust dosage forms, optimize processes, and ensure smooth technology transfer while collaborating with QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.

You will mentor junior scientists, interpret analytical data, and contribute to ANDA submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences required.
• Master’s degree preferred; PhD also preferred.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical development with a BS; 6+ years with MS; <1 year with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize dosage forms including modified-release and IR solids.
• Draft and review PPQ protocols, cleaning verification, and study plans.
• Lead project execution from material selection through scale-up.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate results to regulatory teams.
• Mentor junior scientists in experimental design and data interpretation.
• Contribute to regulatory documents such as ANDA submissions.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations and drive process improvements.
