Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Oncology or related field with 2+ years biopharma drug discovery experience (postdoc considered) or Master's with 6+ years industry experience.
• Substantive knowledge of myeloproliferative neoplasms or related myeloid malignancies to inform study design and data interpretation.
• Ability to work independently within program priorities and contribute to a cross-functional team.
• Proven ability to communicate scientific data clearly to project teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to study design and interpretation for target validation and lead characterization in MPN and related myeloid malignancies.
• Provide input on model systems and study designs using primary patient samples and bone marrow biology.
• Collaborate within drug discovery teams with non-clinical sciences, DMPK, and translational science.
• Present results to project teams and leadership on a regular basis.
• Maintain thorough scientific records following internal standards.
• Prepare sections of scientific reports, presentations, and publications or patent filings for leadership review.
• Monitor literature and emerging methods relevant to assigned programs and bring promising developments to team attention.
