Job summary

Amgen seeks a Business Owner, Molecular Biology Scientific Data to lead data and digital tools for cloning workflows in biologics discovery. You will translate scientific needs into data models, own construct/plasmid data domains, and collaborate with software engineers and scientists to build scalable digital capabilities.

You will shepherd data quality, establish data relationships across apps, and partner with analytics, ML, and automation teams to advance discovery programs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Or Master’s degree with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Or Bachelor’s degree with 4 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings with molecular biologists, cloning scientists, protein engineers, and other biologics discovery users.
• Translate scientific needs into clear data and workflow requirements.
• Partner with technology teams through design, implementation, testing, release, and adoption to confirm that solutions meet the original scientific need.
• Define the data model to support cloning workflows and molecule formats across applications.
• Coordinate release communication, training, and adoption for new capabilities.
