Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.
• 5+ years in microbiology, manufacturing support, quality, or process engineering.
• Strong microbiology lab techniques and Phoenix ID/AST testing.
• Strong technical writing and data-driven problem solving.
• Ability to lead cross-functional testing plans and schedules.
• GMP, quality systems, and change control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports Phoenix ID/AST and Sensi Disc product sustaining activities.
• Designs experiments, pilot testing, qualification activities, and stability testing.
• Reviews data to support product disposition and change controls.
• Provides technical leadership for cross-functional teams on new product development and process optimization.
• Coordinates schedules, testing plans, resources, and submission of samples.
• Troubleshoots complex issues in media, panels, broths, and QC failures.
• Prepares technical docs: investigation summaries, memos, and stability reports.
• Collaborates with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Manufacturing, QC, and Supply Chain.
• Supports continuous improvement and cost avoidance initiatives.
• Performs tasks with minimal supervision and strong accountability.
• Follows GMP procedures and BD safety/compliance policies.
