Job summary

GSK seeks a highly skilled scientist in Pharmaceutical Science to advance material characterization for drug substance and product development. You will evaluate crystal structure, powder properties, and stability to optimize manufacturing routes.

The role requires collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, strong communication of findings, and leadership in projects spanning laboratory to manufacturing transfer, with opportunities to contribute to regulatory submissions and tech transfer

Qualifications

B.S. with >6 years in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutics or related field.
MS with >4 years in relevant area; PhD with minimal industrial experience acceptable.
3+ years using physical and solid-state characterization techniques and applying them to materials.

Responsibilities

Apply material characterization knowledge to support project objectives across drug substance and drug product development.
Identify physical material attributes impacting manufacturability, stability, and control strategy.
Design, execute, interpret and communicate work to meet timelines; oversee CRO work when needed.
