Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Scientist in the Science org to tackle end-to-end product development from data, analytics, modeling, and experimentation perspectives.

You will prototype ML, optimization, causal inference, and marketplace models to generate data-driven insights and inform decisions across Uber's mobility and logistics platforms. You will design and analyze experiments, develop logging and metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D., M.S. or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields.
• 4+ years of industry experience as an Applied or Data Scientist or equivalent (or 2+ years with Ph.D.).
• Background in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, R, Java, Ruby, Scala/Spark or Perl)
• Coding and SQL proficiency and ability to develop statistical analysis and algorithm prototyping in Python or R.
• Design experiments and interpret the results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions across a variety of key performance indicators
