Job description

About Artiva

We are a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing natural killer (NK) cell-based therapies. Our mission is to develop effective, safe, and accessible cell therapies for patients with devastating autoimmune diseases. We aim to develop therapies that patients and physicians can utilize in a community setting. Our lead product candidate, AlloNK® is a non-genetically modified, cryopreserved NK cell therapy being evaluated in combination with B-cell targeted monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). We believe the compelling cell killing properties of NK cells, when combined with mAbs for targeting, creates an opportunity to generate potentially transformative therapies.

Job Summary

Artiva Biotherapeutics is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Senior Scientist I/II who will be responsible for translational assay oversight and data analysis in support of ongoing clinical trials. This position will work with senior translational leadership to identify pharmacodynamic and predictive biomarkers associated with NK cell-mediated clinical response. The ideal candidate brings prior translational science experience supporting clinical trials, a strong background in immunology (B-cell immunology preferred), and hands-on expertise in flow cytometry analysis. The successful candidate will contribute to biomarker development and analysis to support ongoing clinical trials in autoimmunity.

  • A strong background in human immunology required, with an emphasis in B-cell immunology/biology desirable. Direct experience working in autoimmunity preferred.
  • Prior experience in translational science with direct involvement in clinical trials (e.g., biomarker sample analysis, clinical data reporting, cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Development/Operations, and Data Management) strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of drug development.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, attention to detail and data quality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
