Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant technology field or equivalent industrial experience.
• At least 5 years of post‑graduate industrial experience in advanced materials/polymers.
• Strong understanding of polymers and materials science.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing/formulating polymer composites/adhesives.
• Hands‑on lab focus with willingness to contribute.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Guide design, formulation, and manufacturability of high‑temperature resins across benchtop to commercialization.
• Lead hands‑on lab work and partner with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Plan experiments (DoEs) to evaluate additives and new formulations.
• Analyze data and document conclusions in reports and presentations.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.
• Ensure safety and OSHA/EPA compliance in the lab.
• Contribute to product demonstration/engineering efforts in line with Cambium’s mission.
