Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist to join their polymer/composite materials engineering team. This hands-on position involves guiding the design and manufacturability of advanced polymer materials, focused on high-temperature thermosets. You will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to innovate new materials and optimize processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and at least 3-5 years of industrial experience in material development, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of industrial experience in developing advanced materials and polymers for high-performance applications.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a hands-on laboratory environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide the design, formulation, and manufacturability of polymer resins.
• Support new product development through formulating high-performance resins.
• Mentor junior scientists and technicians to advance products.
• Plan experiments and analyze data for new formulations.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and/or formulating polymer composites

Strong written and verbal communication skills
