International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. in Holmdel, NJ and New York, NY is seeking a Senior Scientist, Fragrances (Body Care) to lead analytical chemistry efforts in fragrance analysis and development.

You will perform fragrance extraction, GC/MS profiling, and data interpretation to support new fragrance concepts, working with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. You will provide analytical support for AI-driven fragrance design initiatives and collaborate with Perfumers,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field required; PhD preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of analytical chemistry experience in fragrance or consumer products.
• Hands-on GC/MS operation and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform fragrance extraction from consumer products and analyze with GC/MS.
• Conduct GC/MS profiling and ingredient characterization for fragrance projects.
• Reconstruct fragrance compositions from essential oils, aroma chemicals, and bases.
