TAE Technologies is seeking a Sr. Scientist (Experimental Plasma Physicist) to lead the development and deployment of in-situ boundary plasma diagnostics on the C-2W device.

Qualifications

• PhD-level research in experimental plasma physics with in-situ diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience building, deploying and maintaining diagnostics on plasma devices.
• Experience with Python or similar data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experiments on the C-2W fusion device.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot in-situ boundary plasma diagnostics.
• Analyze data and translate results into physics insights for design guidance.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal reviews and conferences.
• Maintain lab infrastructure and ensure strict safety compliance.
