Job summary

Revolution Medicines is seeking a Cancer Genomics Senior Scientist I to join the Clinical Biomarker Development group. You will drive genomics analytics to maximize insight from biomarker data across Phase I–III studies, integrating multi-omics to understand disease biology and predict drug response.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating findings into actionable biology and communicating results through publications and presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Cancer Genomics, Genetics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• 2–8 years post-PhD experience analyzing cancer genomics data.
• Strong foundation in cancer biology, especially RAS/MAPK signaling.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python; version control with git.
• Experience Linux/Cloud HPC and genomics workflows for large NGS data.
• Experience ctDNA or liquid biopsy data analysis.
• Experience analyzing DNA sequencing data (gene-panel, WES, WGS) and downstream analyses.
• Knowledge of statistics and building predictive models with multidimensional data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate data into biological insight and influence direction.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytics and genomics solutions to clinical biomarker data to inform research & development
• Integrate multi-omics datasets to interrogate disease biology and prognosis, mechanisms of resistance, and predict drug response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, managing interactions with key stakeholders to deliver robust biomarker analyses
• Communicate results to expert and non-expert audiences, including internal teams and external collaborators, via publications and presentations
