Amazon Web Services (AWS) ARI team seeks a highly skilled researcher to advance automated reasoning in identity services. You will interact with internal teams to understand security needs, build validation tools, and produce prototypes that scale to production systems.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent research experience.
• Experience in mathematical logic, formal verification, satisfiability solving (eg SAT/SMT), mechanical theorem proving, model checking, or program analysis.
• Experience in professional software development and applying formal methods to real-world software, security, or systems problems.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with various teams to understand security and safety requirements.
• Apply knowledge to build tools that find problems or show the absence of security/safety problems.
• Implement tools using SAT, SMT, BDDs, and concepts from programming languages, theorem proving, formal verification, and constraint solving.
• Perform analysis of customer systems using in-house or external tools.
• Create software prototypes to verify and validate devised solutions; integrate prototypes into production systems.
