Job summary

Genentech, a member of the Roche group, seeks a Senior Scientist to advance developability modeling and biophysical approaches for antibody design within the AIDD group of the Computational Sciences Center of Excellence. You will collaborate across gRED and pRED, translating computational predictions into actionable guidance and contributing to method development.

Qualifications

PhD in Computational Biology, Biophysics, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent 5–8 years ML/biophysics experience).
Strong developability assessment and biophysical modeling expertise.
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
Experience with molecular modeling tools and biophysical analysis.

Responsibilities

Apply developability modeling to active portfolio projects in gRED/pRED and translate predictions into guidance for antibody engineering teams.
Collaborate with Antibody Engineering stakeholders to ensure continuity and quality of ongoing work.
Interface with portfolio scientists to translate scientific challenges into computational approaches and communicate outputs clearly.
Contribute to method development in developability prediction, biophysical modeling, and ML model improvements.
