Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Sr Scientist, Agentic AI for AWS Governance to develop features for NLI model fine-tuning, framework decomposition, and evidence auto-linking that produce customer-visible governance verdicts.

The role involves leading AI/ML research on security/governance, building scalable analytics pipelines, and advancing agentic and multi-turn systems with RL-based post-training and evaluation. Strong publication and collaboration culture expected.

Qualifications

• PhD, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• 5+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and services to fine-tune NLI models, framework decomposition and evidence auto-linking.
• Build scalable systems for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Drive AI/ML research and governance capabilities in agentic and multi-turn systems.
