Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Process Development Senior Scientist - Drug Product Technologies to lead early-stage ADC formulation and drug product development. You will design and optimize liquid and lyophilized formulations, drive CQAs, and enable scalable fill/finish processes for biologics in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• PhD/PharmD/MD in a relevant field required.
• Masters with 3+ years scientific experience accepted.
• Bachelors with 5 years scientific experience accepted.
• Preferred: PhD with ADC formulation experience.
• Strong analytics and biophysical technique knowledge.
• Experience applying AI/ML to R&D.

Responsibilities

• Advance programs by cross-functional collaboration across process development, research, regulatory, and manufacturing.
• Plan and execute formulation and fill/finish studies for early-stage programs.
• Develop and characterize liquid and lyophilized formulations for biologics with emphasis on ADCs.
• Build process understanding across unit operations to support scalable drug product development.
• Apply machine learning, AI, and data science to predictive modeling and decision-making.
• Present findings to stakeholders and support tech transfer activities.
