Job summary

HB Fuller in Washington state seeks an experienced scientist to lead formulation and product-development projects from concept to commercialization. You will design experiments, analyze data, and optimize adhesives to meet performance targets, while coordinating with commercial, operations, sourcing, and regulatory teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field, industrial product-development experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or related field.
  • Relevant industrial experience in product development, formulation, or applied research.
  • Demonstrated experience designing experiments and interpreting technical data.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to scientific and nontechnical audiences.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead formulation and product-development projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Design experiments and analyze data to guide technical decisions.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or related field.
  • Relevant industrial experience in product development, formulation, or applied research.
  • Demonstrated experience designing experiments and interpreting technical data.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to scientific and nontechnical audiences.
  • Authorization to work in the applicable country without restriction, where required.
Preferred Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Experience developing adhesives, polymers, coatings, or related materials.
  • Experience leading technical projects through commercialization.
  • Experience collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is 105,000-135,000.
