Job summary

One Federal Solution (OFS) seeks a Senior Scientific Systems Specialist / Project Program Management V to support a government client, leading complex scientific analyses and advising leadership on biosafety, biosecurity, and biomedical research policy. The role coordinates multidisciplinary teams of scientists, clinicians, analysts, and program managers, translating technical findings into strategic recommendations and executive briefings.

On-site at Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressively responsible experience in scientific programs or health information systems.
• Experience in scientific systems analysis, documentation, and implementation.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of scientists, clinicians, and program managers.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports, briefings, and presentations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading multiple projects.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Government Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific systems analysis and program planning.
• Provide senior-level scientific and technical expertise for biosafety, biosecurity, and policy initiatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across scientists, clinicians, analysts, and program managers.
• Develop strategic recommendations from scientific, policy, and program data.
• Prepare executive reports, white papers, and briefing materials for leadership.
• Support implementation and improvement of scientific programs and health information initiatives.
• Advise leadership on biosafety and policy implementation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support initiatives and execution.
• Support user engagement and change management activities.
• Present findings and updates to executive leadership.
• Ensure deliverables meet government requirements and schedule.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
