Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a Senior Science and Technology Analyst specializing in Advanced Materials to support the OUSD(R&E) / Advanced Materials.

The hybrid role involves on-site work in Alexandria, VA approximately three days per week with government clients, and collaboration across DoD and federal programs. The candidate will provide technical and programmatic support, lead deep-dive analyses, and help shape S&T roadmaps and proposals, while maintaining broad awareness of current

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; highly specialized candidates with an active DoD SECRET clearance may be considered.
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Ten (10) years’ recent and relevant experience is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication; briefings and meeting moderation.
• Ability to work independently with junior and senior staff in a distributed environment while maintaining deliverables schedule.

Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor baseline metrics to measure Advanced Materials investments against strategic goals.
• Support program reviews with DoD and other agencies; facilitate cross-organizational teams.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for DoD S&T Reliance COI roadmaps and investments.
• Advise COIs in ARAP proposals and seedling expansion efforts; support prototype design.
• Prepare Terms of Reference and data exchange agreements for international programs.
• Interact with contracting offices to resolve open issues and responses.
• Maintain situational awareness of Advanced Materials R&D efforts and align with CTA priorities.
• Assess state of the art in materials for platforms and weapons tech to support DoD programs.
• Provide technical analyses to align threats with state-of-the-art materials and cross-cutting investments.
• Produce directives, meeting minutes, and briefing materials for S&T management.
