Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools seeks a School Nutrition Manager III to coordinate food and supply orders, train staff, supervise kitchen operations, and ensure compliance with health and USDA guidelines.

You will lead food preparation, maintain inventory, and generate reports while promoting healthy choices within LCPS. The role reports to the School Nutrition Services Specialist/Coordinator.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate.
• Maintains SNA Level 1 Certification.
• Promotes and markets the School Nutrition program to students and community.
• Understands health orders for modified diets and allergen communication.

Responsibilities

• Produces 400+ meal equivalents per day.
• Supervises kitchen staff and leads.
• Maintains accurate inventory of kitchen supplies.
• Ensures compliance with USDA guidelines and LCPS policies.
• Creates daily reports and submits them on time.
• Trains and orients new staff and personnel.
• Communicates with principal and school staff to promote healthy choices.
