Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) in Austin, TX seeks a Senior School Finance Advisor to analyze school finance legislation and advise on funding and operating expenses for districts. You will serve as TASB's in-house expert on Texas public school finance, providing strategic cross-functional support across TASB and representing the Association on related issues.

Full-time preferred but a part-time schedule may be considered for the right candidate, with emphasis on translating policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Extensive experience in Texas public school finance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze proposed and enacted legislation related to school finance, budgeting, and funding formulas.
• Advise Government Relations staff on fiscal and operational implications of school finance proposals.
• Translate statutory and regulatory changes into practical, district-facing guidance.
• Review finance-related legal resources for accuracy and clarity.
