Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a Building Services Manager for Silver Spring International Middle School. You will oversee the school plant, building operations, and grounds, ensuring sanitary, safety, and operating standards, plus security of the facility.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing resources, and responding to emergencies. The role may require overtime or night work and the use of uniforms as part of staff attire.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possession of a boiler certificate and stationary engineer license preferred for safe operation of boilers.
• Completion of the MCPS Building Manager Test at the required score.

Responsabilidades

• Manage school plant, building operations, and grounds to meet sanitary, safety, and operating standards.
• Supervise custodial and grounds staff; allocate human and material resources for quality service and safe environment.
• Respond to emergencies; report to buildings during inclement weather and in other emergency situations.
• Maintain records of time and materials; prepare routine reports and evaluations.

Educación
