Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks an experienced Building Services Assistant Manager II for Georgian Forest Elementary School in Silver Spring. This evening shift role oversees cleaning staff, ensures facility upkeep and security, and represents the school administration in interactions with staff and the public.

Imbued with knowledge of building systems, you will train, assign, and inspect workers, maintain records, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school level formal education; experience supervising cleaning staff.
• Knowledge of building service methods, materials, and safety.
• Ability to train, supervise, and inspect subordinates; maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise afternoon/evening cleaning duties and staff on Shift 2.
• Ensure cleanliness, upkeep, and security of assigned facilities.
• Maintain time and materials records; assist with reports.
