Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Coordinator IV to lead and coordinate the district's comprehensive school counseling program for secondary-level students. The role emphasizes alignment with Texas Model requirements, data-informed practice, and CCMR readiness across campuses.

The coordinator will support counselors, principals, and district staff, providing coaching, professional learning, and ongoing program evaluation to improve student outcomes and postsecondary pathways.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas counseling certification required.
• Minimum of three years of successful experience in education, including counseling at the secondary level.
• Experience coordinating or supporting a comprehensive school counseling program across multiple campuses preferred.
• Experience using student outcome data to monitor implementation, evaluate program effectiveness, and develop action plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the District's comprehensive school counseling program.
• Supports the Director in establishing counseling priorities, annual calendars, implementation expectations, and progress-monitoring routines for campuses.
• Provides coaching, professional learning, and technical assistance to school counselors.
• Uses data to identify trends, monitor program effectiveness, and recommend adjustments to services.
