University of North Texas invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track Associate/Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology with a focus on adult neurogenic communication disorders. Candidates should have a Ph.D.

in SLP or related field and a program of externally funded research. The successful candidate will teach, supervise graduate research, contribute to clinical education, and participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities within the UNT ASLP department.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in speech-language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related discipline.
• Established research agenda with independent grant development.
• Ability to teach in on-campus, online, and non-traditional formats and use instructional technology.
• Demonstrated excellence in graduate teaching and student mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, and sustain externally funded research.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in speech-language pathology and related disciplines.
• Mentor master's and doctoral student research and foster a collaborative research environment.
• Supervise graduate research, including theses and dissertations.
• Contribute to clinical education through supervision of student clinicians in the UNT Speech and Hearing Center.
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation activities, governance, and service.
