Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Senior Scheduling Support Systems Engineer in Jessup, MD to support a major Intelligence Community contract. You will advise the Government Program Manager and help maintain schedules using Microsoft Project Server, ensuring timely milestones and accurate dependencies.

The role requires 20 years of systems engineering experience (or equivalent with higher degrees) and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, with substantial interaction across stakeholders and a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s or PhD degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would be acceptable.
• This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist Government Program Manager in System Engineering activities following DoD and industry best practices.
• Assist ESMS and scheduling support team with program and project schedules.
• Maintain and manage the ESMS repository (Microsoft Project Server) for programs and schedules.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues.
