Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team and support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services.

Responsibilities include developing, monitoring, and updating the IMS, establishing the schedule management program, and interfacing with clients and stakeholders to provide guidance and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
• Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update owners' Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large scale capital programs.
• Interface with project stakeholders as trusted advisors and provide guidance.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
• Conduct schedule resource loading and leveling.
• Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities.

• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.

• Monitor schedule deviations and variances andassistin thedevelopmentof alternative methods for corrective action.
• Apply EVMmethodologyto measure project progress.
• Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensurethataccurateandtimelydata is incorporatedintothe schedule.
• Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trendingcharts,and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
• Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
• Assurethe credibilityof the information contained in the schedule.
• Maintain liaison withclientsand other consultants at allprojectsstages.
