Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler and Planner for data center construction to develop and manage the project IMS, ensuring baselines and resource loading are accurate.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a construction-related field and 5–7 years of experience in complex matrix environments, with EVM knowledge and a focus on delivering on-time milestones in a large capital program.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex projects and schedules is essential.
• Familiarity with EVM and schedule integration a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update the owner's IMS.
• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large capital programs.
• Interface with project stakeholders as trusted advisors to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
• Conduct schedule and planning of resource loading and leveling.
• Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
• Monitor schedule and planning deviations and variances and assist in corrective actions.
• Apply EVM methodology to measure project progress.
• Review schedules with project team to ensure accurate data is incorporated.
• Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and analyses periodically.
• Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances affecting schedule.
• Ensure the credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
• Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs.
• Interface with project stakeholders as trusted advisors to provide guidance and recommendations for the project.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
• Conduct schedule and planning of resource loading and leveling.
• Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
• Monitor schedule and planning deviations and variances and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action.
• Apply EVM methodology to measure project progress.
• Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated into the schedule.
• Prepare and provide schedule and planning progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
• Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule and planning performance.
• Assure the credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
• Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
• Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.

Compensation

The salary range for this full-time role is $170K - $180K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
