Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT industry experience with strong software development background.
• Strong programming experience in Scala and familiarity with Scala frameworks.
• Good working knowledge of Java and backend application development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming (FP).
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance applications and services.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL including design, queries, and tuning.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices; experience with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Scala.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Develop and optimize database solutions using MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews and influence software design best practices.
• Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation initiatives
